Introduction

This web page can help readers understand some of the issues that extreme abuse survivors may struggle with if their abuse was perpetrated by leaders and members of the Nazi network. If you have not been exposed to the Nazi/Aryan supremacist version of human evil, or if you are not interested in learning more about it, you may want to skip this page. If you are a survivor of Nazi abuse, you may want to review it with a support person.

I am familiar with Nazi extreme abuse because I spent much of my first three decades of life as a slave to Nazi sociopaths and their active supporters. After I was extracted from their covert system (not by choice), I participated in extensive deprogramming and psychotherapy to overcome 30+ years of brainwashing and mental programming and conditioning.  Unfortunately, many more children, teenagers and adults are still being used and abused by sociopathic Aryans. Click here for a list of books that describe, in-depth, the kinds of human rights violations that victims of Nazi extreme abuse often suffer.

I am neither anti-Nazi nor pro-Nazi.  I believe that every person has the right to think and believe as he/she chooses.  However, I do not believe that any person, group or organization should ever be allowed the right - or power - to violate the civil and human rights of other humans.  This includes rights defined and protected by the U.S. Constitution, the U.S. Bill of Rights, and human rights charters.

Nazis in the U.S.

Many Nazi groups and organizations operate in the U.S.  Some are publicly recognized; most are protected by the U.S. constitution and local laws. Others are not publicly recognized because they choose to operate "under the radar". Because they do not invite public scrutiny, they're more likely to become involved in illegal activities like domestic terrorism and organized crime.

Nazi rally in South CarolinaContrary to media stereotypes, most members of stateside Nazi groups and organizations are not Doc Marten wearing, swastika tattooed, skin-headed young people who carry weapons, beat up people, and deface churches and synagogues.

Although most Nazi groups and organizations do include members who buy-into those stereotypes, the majority of members are active participants in "normal" society. Many people who are members of legally sanctioned Nazi organizations and groups choose not to disclose information about their membership or activities to non-member neighbors and coworkers for fear or being shunned or punished. On the other hand, some members participate in activities designed to draw attention to themselves and their causes.

Hitler's torch: modern-day brainwashing

Many Nazi Project Paperclip team in USNazi groups and organizations began in the U.S. after Operation Paperclip, a secretive U.S. government pro-immigration program, was developed.  This occurred shortly before the end of WWII.

Operation Paperclip was a highly covert program because it was politically sensitive.  Citizens in the U.S., many of whom lost loved ones during World Wars I and II, would certainly have been outraged to learn that their own government was actively seeking, recruiting, and relocating members of the Nazi party to Canada and the United States. For this and other reasons, most citizens are still unaware that U.S. Army and OSS/CIA intelligence officers relocated - and sterilized the records of - thousands of Nazi war criminals whose research was considered invaluable by the intelligence officers and their superiors.

More recently, the public has learned that NASA was created and staffed mainly by relocated Nazi war criminals that including Werner von Braun, NASA's revered founder.

Today, many member of Nazi groups and organizations take great pride in the closely guarded knowledge that they carry the generational torch handed to them by real German Nazis. For this and other reasons, many members become offended if they are labeled neo-Nazi by the media. They are taught by their leaders to take great pride in having been born Aryan.

Many members are taught at meetings, by their leaders, to believe that the war criminals who founded their groups or organizations had never committed the crimes that they are accused of.  To accept that one is revering, and following in the footsteps of, a sociopathic murderer would certainly damage ones sense of pride...therefore, the truth must avoided, discarded, or attacked.

Nazi beliefs and traditions are often revered and replicated by members of Nazi and Aryan supremacist groups and organizations, who consider their choice to perpetuate the Nazi way of life as a precious opportunity to carry the Nazi torch of honor.  Ironically, they often do not understand why most world citizens consider involvement in Nazi or Aryan supremacist activities to be negative or evil.

Timothy McVeighAs in most cultlike closed systems, members are discouraged from obtaining, and absorbing, information easily available from outside sources, such as the Internet.  A ploy commonly used by leaders is to convince members that the "outside" media is controlled by the Jewish elite, and the elite is determined to destroy the pure Aryan bloodline. (Click here for an example of Nazi propaganda concerning Jewish world domination.)

This common ploy, and other scare tactics, keep Aryan members fearful and in the dark. Leaders also understand that such tactics help members to redirect their anger - that they develop when they are abused by the leaders - onto targeted populations and ethnic groups including Jews, Blacks, Hispanics, and the GLBTIQ population. (Click here to learn about connections between Aryan propaganda and the Oklahoma City bombing.)

Cognitive Dissonance in ... Most members never realize that their leaders, and seasoned members who hide their Nazi affiliations while presenting themselves as devout Christian politicians and right-wing "news commentators" and more, regularly use a brainwashing technique that Adolph Hitler coined the big lie. (To view an example of the use of the big lie tactic by a media commentator, click here.)

In most totalitarian closed systems, members are strongly conditioned to believe that whatever the leaders say must be true. Some ex-members may need help from therapists who provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  This particular need usually arises when ex-members experience cognitive dissonance as they begin to interact with the outside world.

Unfortunately, some Nazi/Aryan members choose to accept their leaders' information without question.  Some members become so impassioned by leaders' teachings and propaganda that the members make an extreme sacrifice - death or imprisonment - primarily based on the false information.  (To listen to a propaganda song on YouTube by Aryan Terrorism, a Nazi band, click here. Turn sound down before viewing. Graphics may trigger flashbacks for survivors of extreme abuse.)

Frogs in the kettle

Frog in the kettleUnfortunately, idealistic new members of publicly recognized Nazi groups and organizations may discover - after it's too late - that the leaders expect them to participate in illegal and/or anti-government activities.  This is one of the most common disadvantages of joining any closed system.  One of the biggest perks of becoming a member is receiving a huge boost to ones self-esteem. Most Nazi leaders work hard to convince members that they are, because of their genetics, superhuman members of an idealized Master Race

Being a member of a Nazi group or organization also validates and encourages members' stereotypical views of people from other ethnicities and cultures.  Unfortunately, most members stop using important social skills like empathy. This can be dangerous because, like the proverbial frog in the kettle, members who buy into the Nazi "us against them" mentality usually become isolated from the rest of society. Unfortunately, when they distance themselves from the rest of the world, they may find it necessary to increase their dependence on the leaders and other members to meet their basic emotional and social needs.

More hidden costs

Although some Aryan supremacy groups are overt and are not afraid to publicly announce their beliefs, they are less likely to share their short-and-long-term strategies with the public. And although leaders are quick to point out some of the benefits of becoming a member, they - like leaders of most closed systems - will withhold information about some of the costs that members will eventually have to pay.  For instance, female members often experience a decrease in social status. This is because - in the Nazi culture - females continue to be viewed as second-class citizens.

Because the Nazi culture emphasizes propagation, females members are also commonly labeled "breeders". Unfortunately, potential new members are rarely - if ever - warned that they must relinquish each baby they bear as a sacrifice to the "cause".  Although in some cell groups and other Aryan organizations, the mother's required "sacrifice" may be symbolic and the mother is allowed to keep the child, other members' babies are forcibly taken from them. In such cases, the mothers are not allowed to have any further contact with the baby.

Two primary purposes for illegally switching babies are:

bulletto ensure the mother's obedience via blackmail (obey, and the child will be adequately provided for)
bulletto break any and all attachment bonds between the mother and child.

When natural attachments bonds between mothers and infants - including bonds formed in the mother's womb - are broken, cell group leaders and other devoted members can more easily condition and brainwash the now-captive children. Breaking attachment bonds between member children and parents, and breaking attachment bonds between older members and non-member parents, is a basic tactic used by many leaders of totalitarian closed systems...including destructive cults.

Whenever a new member retains a healthy attachment relationship with his or her parents, it is much harder for a leader of a totalitarian closed system to mentally and emotionally manipulate and brainwash the subject into becoming a loyal and subservient follower. On the other hand, once the original attachment bond between child and parents is severed - regardless of the "child's" physical age - the subject will feel lost and will look to substitute authority figures to protect the person, and provide for his/her basic emotional and psychological needs. At that point, the leader's personality and behaviors will begin to imprint on the psyche of the vulnerable subject. This transition is also known as Stockholm Syndrome and identification with the aggressor.

In the U.S., to circumvent the law and avoid undue suspicion, these mothers have historically received another mother's baby who is physiologically compatible. In other words, the new baby will have the same skin tone, hair and eye color, and height and weight as the birth child to allay possible suspicions of people outside the group or organization. Pregnant members whose babies will be removed from them, are often reportedly referred - by cell group leaders or other group members - to medical professionals who are allegedly recruited - often via group membership, blackmail, and/or undocumented financial reward - to further ensure a successful cover-up.

Targeting innocence

Taking a baby away, and then forcing the grieving mother to raise a stranger's baby in its stead, is certainly a terrible crime that is - according to reports from survivors - still being committed against female members of some Aryan groups and organizations.  Although baby-swapping is an extreme act of cruelty, it is not new.

Nazi Lebensborn photo nurse with babiesBaby-swapping probably originated with the Third Reich's Lebensborn program. During the Nazi regime in WWII, it was against the law for females to have abortions. This was, in part, because the Nazi leaders were determined to create as many future members of the Master Race as possible. The Master Race consisted of pure-blooded babies with no physical or genetic defects. At that time, it was believed that both parents must have blue eyes and blond hair for the baby to be from super, or superior, genetic stock.  (More recently, Nazi leaders have chosen to accept humans as "super" if they have blue eyes and brown hair, as long as the children were born with blond hair. Children who have brown eyes are still treated by Aryan supremacists as inferior.)

As was dictated by Hitler and his associates, as many babies as possible were to be "bred" by their blond, blue-eyed mothers, who coupled with blond, blue-eyed Nazi males to create perfect babies for the Reich. Most mothers understood that they were to "sacrifice" the babies for the Reich - emotionally, if not physically. Some babies were given up by their mothers to be raised by adoptive parents who were devoted to the Nazi party. Some of the children attended specialized schools where they were taught to be loyal members.

Even in the 1930s and 1940s, Hitler and his associates understood the power of secure attachmentFile:Bundesarchiv Bild 146-1973-060-72, Wandernde Hitlerjungen.jpgOne of Hitler's goals was that his regime would dominate the entire world by the year 2000. To help reach this goal, he and his associates chose to brainwash Aryan children to dedicate their lives to the Nazi regime. For instance, they developed the paramilitary Hitler Youth: a widespread program that eventually became compulsory.  During WWII, the Hitler Youth program (Hitler-Jungend in German) had more than 8 million members.

A primary goal of Nazi leadership is to ensure the survival and long-term success of the Master Race. Because the Nazi system thrives on promulgation, it focuses on creating as many child members as possible, and then doing whatever is necessary to ensure that the child members will remain loyal to the Aryan network and its leaders for life.

Master Plan's fatal flaw?

Hitler and BlondiAlthough the system of promulgation may based on sound scientific principles, it has a fatal flaw when it is applied to humans.  We know this from analyzing Hitler's own life. We may never fully understand why Hitler became so incredibly sociopathic and emotionally disconnected. We may never learn all the reasons why he felt so unsafe in this world. We may never comprehend why he focused his overwhelming fear and rage onto so-called "defective" fellow humans. And we may never know why he was so terrified of Jews that he tried to erase them completely from the earth.

But we do know that Hitler was fully human. He was certainly terrified, because only terror will drive a person to attempt to control or erase anything and anyone in the world that could possibly hurt him. Like all humans, Hitler craved safety, acceptance and love. And like many other sociopaths, Hitler was so fearful of being harmed by humans that he sought to meet his needs through his special relationship with an animal. (To learn more about Hitler's relationship with his German Shepherd, Blondi, click here.)

Children will always be fully human. They are not scientific objects, nor are they abstract numbers. They do not naturally gravitate towards people and environments that are scary, mean, and cold-hearted.  Instead, they are instinctively drawn towards people and environments that are safe, accepting, and loving.

asiaticmotherchild.jpg teach and nurture image by NOStreet_ArtHitler's fatal flaw was that he was not able to recognize and honor his own humanity. Because he couldn't acknowledge his own softness and vulnerabilities, he couldn't recognize them in children. Instead, he seemed to view them as scientific objects of study, and as tools of protection. Because he was unable to recognize their need for love and caring and safety, he didn't understand that his Master Plan would inevitably fail.

Regardless of how many children are still being "bred" to prove the legitimacy of the Master Race and to bolster its numerical count, the emotional deficits that children and other members encounter within the sociopathic community will continue to drive them away from it, back to normal society.  Our inerasable humanity may be the Master Plan's fatal flaw.
